FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HERE ARE SOME OF OUR MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN DESSERT?
    Yes you can, though there is a cake cutting fee of $3.50 per guest. Please let your server know ahead of time if each guest will be charged separately, or if someone is taking care of the entire cost. Our staff will be happy to slice your cake after the presentation. To be noted you will be charged whether you choose to cut it yourself or have the staff do it for you.
  • ARE GROUP MENUS MANDATORY FOR MY EVENT?
    If you are a group of 18 or more, Yes. Our Group Set Menus are mandatory. Our condensed menu is mandatory for groups between 13 and 17 guests. ​ We do not offer our full A La Carte Menu to large parties. ​ Our Group Set Menus are created to be inclusive of preference and dietary restrictions, including both vegetarian and vegan options. ​ You and your guests are given a choice between two appetizers, five mains, and two desserts. ​ Parties over 40 in attendance will require a pre-selection a minimum of one week in advance.
  • CAN I BRING IN MY OWN MUSIC OR ENTERTAINMENT?
    No. SOCIAL maintains an upbeat and lounge vibe through specially curated playlists, as well as our resident DJ on Saturday nights. ​ If you are hosting a full buy-out of the entire restaurant, you are welcome to discuss entertainment options with our event coordinator.
  • CAN I DECORATE?
    In short, yes. We welcome decor in the form of balloons, a gift table, and floral arrangements. We do not permit glitter or confetti. ​ Hosts will have access to their room one hour prior to the event booking. ​ You are responsible for taking these items with you upon completion of your event, unless arranged otherwise with the event coordinator.
  • ​WHAT AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR AS AN EVENT HOST?
    You are responsible for ensuring your guests are made aware of the Group Menu available to them, the cost per person, and the auto-gratuity that will be added. ​ You are responsible for providing a confirmation of your guest count at least 72 hours prior to the event. ​ Any last minute cancellations will be charged as $20 per person no show fee.
  • WHAT ARE THE BILLING AND BOOKING POLICIES FOR PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE ROOMS?
    All private and semi-private rooms are subject to a specified subtotal, in addition to a 20% gratuity. Final billing and payment collection will occur on the day of the event, but a contract including credit card authorization will be required to book your private spaces.
  • DO ROOM RATES VARY DEPENDING ON THE DAY OF THE WEEK?
    Room rates vary per business day.
